Our Story
Purba Custom Furniture formally began operations in 1989. Jas Purba (Founder) was not only educated in the field of drafting and carpentry, but had a passion for creating furniture. That is why, almost 20 years ago, Jas and his wife, Lavleen, decided to open up their own manufacturing plant located in Surrey, B.C.
From producing only small pieces of furniture, and selling to just a couple of dealers, Purba Furniture has evolved into a leading manufacturer of Bedroom Suites, Television Units, Wall Centers, and Entertainment Units. With dealers all across Canada, Purba Furniture continues to expand their solid customer base.
Specializing in Oak and Maple, Purba Furniture is very well-known throughout the industry for having top quality, latest designs, and superior finishing on all products. For the past 20 years they have attributed their great success to their desire to meet and exceed customer's expectations - which they continue to do on a daily basis.
